During the summer, the offramp is dry and barren, and used to have an encampment on it.
It became over grown with weeds.

The High Street Coalition worked withthe City of Oakland (and Caltrans) and cleared the weeds!
Mulch and plants in!
Our volunteers worked together to design a garden that would be CalTrans-appoved! We also transported mulch, aquired plants, and got digging!
The flowers and plants we used will bloom every year!
How it ended! A much nicer welcome into the neighborhood!
